Where to buy Essential oils. February 21, 2009

Of all the essential oil companies that I’ve used I would have to say that aura cacia is my favorite (http://www.auracacia.com/auracacia/acindex.html). I find that they have a much broader selection of both natural and organic oils than just about any other company. I purchase them most easily through my food co-op membership. They are listed starting on page 177 of the Unfi catalog.

With that said, you can puchase essential oils online, at your local health food store and I’ve found Tea Tree oil at both Kroger and Wal-mart. I used to be able to get them at the Cumberland General Store, when they were just down the street.  They now have only an online storefront ( http://www9.mailordercentral.com/cumberlandgeneral/ ) I don’t think that their online selection is very large but its been a while since I’ve browsed through it and might be worth a look.

  1. i absolutely LOVE aura cacia’s oils. ive tried doTerra, young living and the body shop brands and although they are good aura cacia seems to have the best smelling and definitely a HUGE variety. an i love the name too *wink*
