I left out some old pistachios for a squirrel one day and I swear sometimes he just comes back to my glass backdoor waiting for the next batch.

I know how you feel. I wish that I'd used a midwife for my first four...the last two births were the most amazing experiences ever. I'll never birth without a midwife again unless it can't be avoided. : )

I used olive oil for birthing my youngest child! It was great as a lubricant and between that and the stretching support I got from my midwife it was the easiest of the three births - I wish I would have been able to have a midwife for my first two!

Hi Carmen,

I was somewhat upset to find the Jason brand SPF46 sunscreen I use everyday on the list with a 3 rating. I wrote an email to customer service at their website asking about it and below is their reply. It may be that responses to information such as that you put on your blog are responsible for these companies re-evaluating and changing their formulas. Good job!

Dear Ms. Wichman,

Thank you for taking the time to contact us regarding our Sunbrellas Sun Care Kid's Block. We apologize for the delay in our reply and appreciate your patience. We strive to maintain the highest quality products and we appreciate your patronage.

We have reformulated all of our sunscreens to not include oxybenzone, however there could be both on store shelves.

Thank you for your continued support of Jason Natural Products. If we can be of further assistance, please feel free to contact us at 1-877-JASON-01 (527-6601), Monday through Friday from 7AM - 5PM Mountain Time.

Sincerely,

Lynda

My last 2 children suffered from Vitamin D deficiency. Now we practically LIVE outside. However we are Black, live in the Northeast and both children were exclusively breastfed. we fit a stereotype and they tested the babies and voila deficiency. I would have never guessed. we don't fall into those diet hypes. After all i was born in Jamaica, we live on wholesome foods! Both children have normal vitamin D levels and both have had their legs straighten out. By the way, both children refused any milk that wasn't breastmilk until 2 1/2 years of age.
